Our use of Chapter Education was unfortunately interrupted by the Coronavirus outbreak. We had originally booked the company to deliver a masterclass session per week to our high prior attaining pupil premium students for 10 weeks prior to the exam period and, due to the lockdown, only 4 of these were delivered which is a massive shame. My students were highly complimentary of Laura and her delivery and were very much looking forward to their sessions each week. Laura was able to strike an excellent balance between support and challenge, which the students very much appreciated. They loved being in a smaller class and Laura really made them feel special whilst focusing on the key skills involved in achieving high grades. Laura listened and took on board all of the information I had given her about the class which meant that there was no confusion between two different teachers about how to address the questions. I can’t recommend Chapter Education highly enough. Their communication was excellent which meant for seamless transitions between their usual English classes and their “extra” one. I am only upset that they didn’t get to finish the full year and will be booking early for them to come back next year!

The training provided by Chapter Education was excellent - After the two sessions, everything was much clearer as they spent time thoroughly and effectively explaining the mark schemes and how these applied to the examples provided, The resources supplied were also excellent. I can't recommend this training enough - I feel so much more confident in assessing students' work and have used the resources with students, to enable them to review their own work and identify how to improve it in the future. A must for anyone wanting to assess effectively English Language paper 1 or paper 2.
